Recipe: Healthy Fudge

fudge

One of my favorite, easiest desserts of all time is actually healthy too! It’s a single serving of fudge that uses maple syrup (great source of manganese and zinc) and coconut oil (amazing antibacterial properties and lowers bad cholesterol levels):

1 tbsp raw peanut butter butter (any nut butter will work)
1 tsp coconut oil, melted
1 tsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp pure maple syrup, grade b
⅛ tsp vanilla extract
pinch fine sea salt

– In a small bowl combine all of the ingredients and mix well.
– Either transfer the mixture to a small plate lined with parchment paper or do what I do and just leave it in the small bowl, and place the mixture in the freezer. The hardest part is letting it set for at least 15 minutes before serving.
